Travertine Stone Polishing

Here is a stone restoration jobs that I did back in the day. It was 18″ travertine – about 7 years old. The floor was pretty flat and I was able to hit it with just a powder polish and get pretty decent results.

It was a bit of a trick getting used to the powder polish, i.e. finding the right working time and moisture that the product worked well with but I figured it out.

New Category Added: Stone and Concrete Polishing

What does concrete polishing have to do with grout cleaning you say? Well, grout is really just like colored concrete so that’s got to count for something, right?

As a self proclaimed grout “expert” I sometimes dabble in the area of stone restoration and polishing. When you start doing stone/marble you start looking at concrete polishing.

If you’re in the grout cleaning business you’ve probably had requests to polish a little marble here and there so I figure I’ll include some topics on the subject from time to time.
